The Fulbright NY Alumnus-in-Residence Program (FAIR)

The Fulbright NY Alumnus-in-Residence (FAIR) program fosters alumni projects that further the Fulbright mission of international understanding while allowing alumni to accelerate the growth and success of a social entrepreneurship project through year-long support and thematic event programming.

The Greater New York Chapter launched the Fulbright NY Alumnus-in-Residence (FAIR) program in 2013 to incubate alumni projects that further the Fulbright mission of international understanding and have the potential for high impact. The goal of the FAIR program is to accelerate the growth and success of one alumnus project each year by providing access to mentoring, community connections, related programming, promotional support and other resources over 12 months.

Each of our FAIR residents have created exceptional projects that embody the mission of Fulbright and focus on social entrepreneurship and international development. Meet our past FAIR residents below.

Our FAIR Residents:

We must dare to think ‘unthinkable’ thoughts. We must learn to explore all the options and possibilities that confront us in a complex and rapidly changing world.
— Senator J. William Fulbright
