Fulbright's Greater New York Chapter

The Greater New York Chapter of the Fulbright Association engages, supports & inspires NYC’s Fulbrighters, carrying forward the Fulbright mission of international understanding through international exchange and awareness. The Greater New York Chapter holds programming and events throughout the year, such as salons, panels, mentoring activities and happy hours. We’ve also got some great social entrepreneurship and education initiatives such as the Global Curriculum Toolkit and the Fulbright NY Alumnus-in-Residence program. Fulbright alumni, current Fulbrighters and general public are all welcome to our events!

FAIR PROGRAM

The Fulbright NY Alumnus-in-Residence (FAIR) program fosters alumni projects that further the Fulbright mission of international understanding while allowing alumni to accelerate the growth and success of a social entrepreneurship project through year-long support and thematic event programming.

Global Curriculum Toolkit

The Global Curriculum Toolkit consists of templates and activities that apply an international, multidisciplinary lens into school topics while integrating Fulbright themes. Lesson plans using Fulbright projects are included, along with activities that build international awareness.

Open Salons

Fulbright NY Open Salons are opportunities to hear about Fulbrighters’ work by doing presentations in a cross-disciplinary, informal atmosphere, for feedback, critique or to instigate thought. Check out this overview of some of our past salons.
